Business Development Manager - Strategic Accounts

Purpose

● Drive the Key account strategy for Riwal UK. Investigate, develop and manage the growth of new & existing customers within specific target sectors.

Organisational Structure

● Reports directly into the National Sales Manager

Tasks and Responsibilities

● To research, seek agreement and then target a selection of ‘best-fit’ strategic account that play to the strengths of Riwal UK i.e. niche fleet, The Riwal Way, ODI, Access4U, Telemetry

● To manage, retain and grow the strategic accounts portfolio and provide long term, profitable market share growth and additional strategic opportunities.

● Develop a detailed strategic plan for each focus sector set specific strategies that address the business objectives of both Riwal and the clients operating within that field.

● Maintain a pipeline of all opportunities and share this with the National Sales Manager.

● Create partnerships with like minded “Safety driven” clients that offer opportunities in addition to their direct revenue spend, that utilise all aspects of Riwals products and services.

● Develop an in-depth knowledge of their sectors and individual customers, fully understanding current and future sector requirements and using this knowledge to steer Riwal to develop relevant added value products and services (including: Sustainability, Safety, Environment).

● Create and develop an 12 month sales plan with regular reviews on industry direction, stakeholder feedback and overall customer satisfaction.

● Manage the tendering process on behalf of Riwal for all allocated accounts.

● Always sell the value of Riwal.

Preferred Requirements (although not essential)

● Industry experience

● Experienced high level negotiator.

● Marketing experience
