Rough terrain no problem for new scissor lifts
Riwal UK has strengthened its mid-range scissor lift fleet to meet growing demand for powered access platforms that can work effectively across rough terrain.
The addition of the Skyjack 6832 RT scissor lifts to the hire fleet is part of a significant investment programme in the UK by the global powered access company.
Terry Lindsey, Riwal National Sales Manager said: “There is strong demand, in particular from construction customers who want to use mid-range scissor lifts that combine the latest safety and productivity standards.
“As a machine that is designed to cope well across uneven and difficult ground, the Skyjack 6832 RT is going to be very popular with our curtain wall installation, cladding, and external fit-out customers.”
The Skyjack 6832 RT scissor lift has a maximum working height of 11.75 metres, and a roll-out deck that extends an already spacious platform to 2.23 metres.
The scissor lift is driveable at full height with the roll-out deck fully-extended and has auto-levelling outriggers to allow operatives to work at height above sloping ground.
In January 2019, Riwal UK also added new Skyjack SJ4632 DC electric scissor lifts and Skyjack SJ16 vertical mast lifts to its UK hire fleet.
