Riwal UK appoints Lee Rigby to Lead National Sales

Lee Rigby National Sales Manager Riwal UK

Riwal UK has appointed Lee Rigby to be its UK Commercial Manager.

Mick Ledden, Country Manager at Riwal UK, said Lee’s track record and proven skills were a “perfect match” for the business.

He added: "I am delighted that Lee will be joining Riwal UK to lead our commercial team and work with me to plan and deliver the future growth of the business. The entire Riwal group welcomes Lee. Its team members are on hand to give him every assistance possible to settle in quickly and start making a difference."

Lee has nearly 20 years’ experience working for companies in the plant and powered access sector at up to director level.

He said: “I’m joining Riwal at a very exciting time, both globally and in the UK. We have new premises and investment in the UK to enhance an already strong market position. Riwal has an excellent reputation and I look forward to working with the entire team to drive sustainable growth and give customers the best experience.”

Riwal is a global rental and sales specialist, with 75 depots in 16 countries, giving customers industry-leading access to a wide range of powered access machines and telehandlers, including the world’s largest aerial booms.

As announced on 9 May 2019, Riwal UK will benefit from investment of nearly €100 million (£86.1 million) in Riwal’s fleet during 2019 – 75% of which will be for fleet expansion, with a strong focus on hybrid and all-electric machines.

Lee Rigby and his team will play a key role in working with customers across the UK to ensure they benefit fully from the investment – with fast and seamless access to the most capable, safest and most sustainable powered access machines in the world.
