ALS Safety shortlisted for 2019 IAPA Award

ALS Shortlisted

ALS Safety, Riwal UK’s national training division, has been shortlisted for the IPAF Training Centre of the Year Award for the second year running.

ALS Safety offers training seven days a week and in 2018 acquired one of only six VR training simulators in Europe. It also opened a new central London centre in Bermondsey and added two new fully-qualified trainers to the training team.

The shortlist for the International Awards for Powered Access (IAPA) 2019 was announced after judges met in Amsterdam on 21 January.

ALS Safety Training Director Darren Verschuren said: “It’s a big honour to be nominated for training centre of the year for the second year in a row, and fingers crossed we can go one step further this time.

“Having the Riwal Group being nominated in three separate categories demonstrates the quality of service that is offered across all the many countries we operate in.“

More than 100 entries were received for this year’s IAPAs, the powered access industry’s most prestigious awards.

Sister company Manlift, based in the Middle East, was shortlisted for Access Rental Company of the Year.

Riwal UK Country Manager Mick Ledden said: “It doesn't surprise me in the least that ALS Safety are shortlisted again this year. The whole team deserves this recognition.
