To support our Group Manager Tax & and our Group Legal Counsel at our global headquarters we are currently looking for an

Tax and Legal Specialist

32-40 hrs per week – International HQ - Dordrecht, the Netherlands 

Riwal operates in a competitive environment and our customers expect high levels of safety, availability, customer service and on-time delivery. Your mission in this role is to support all tax and related activities, filings and projects for both HQ ánd our Riwal Countries. This includes optimizing and digitizing the Tax and Legal filing system and effective processing of filings and project related requests. You get the opportunity to learn from international tax and legal experts and you will work on complex and global challenges in collaboration with your international colleagues.

In terms of specifics, this requires you to:

  • Maintain data sets for (annual) Transfer Price (TP) documentation (collect data from Group controllers and create harmonized data set files (in Excel));
  • Track and report progress on TP document Q&A, outstanding requests and (co-) prepare responses; 
  • Maintain and update annual English master and local TP files (in word) in harmonized templates using input from Tax manager and external consultant PWC;
  • Exchange drafts with external consultant for review and comments; 
  • Coordinate translation of local TP files with translator, local consultant and local finance; 
  • Keep and store digital files for Transfer pricing (EN+translation), All Corporate tax filings and assessments (FE), Finalized tax advice (strategy and complex transactions) for audit and strategy purposes;
  • Maintain and track tax work in progress (global tax returns, TP, annual reports, LOR, other governance documents), report and follow up delays;
  • Fast process and prepare answers of questions by the expert consultants. Service and support the process.

Of course we can teach you the technical specifics of our industry; it’s more important that you are organized and structured and that you have an eye to detail and quality. On the one hand you will work closely together with our Group Manager Tax and Group Legal Counsel but on the other hand, you will work closely together with our experts in the Riwal countries. Therefore it is important that you are transparent in your communication and that you are a team player.

Besides that, you also bring the following attributes: 

  • Minimal MBO education level and expected HBO working level;
  • Experienced in an office support or admin job at a consulting, accounting, tax or legal firm;
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office software like Word and Excel;
  • Experience with (digital) document storage and filing solutions is a pre;
  • Able to work with numbers (transactions details and financial overviews) as well as text;
  • Proficiency level in English language;
  • Good written communication skills.
