International Service Engineer

Job description

As an International Service Engineer you will be using your professional and technical skills in an international setting, by working in different countries and in various cultures. In this position you will work closely together with the local Service Engineers in the countries, and with the other International Service Engineers in the SWAT team. The scope of the assignments ranges from machine inspections, maintenance, damage repairs, testing and trouble shooting.

We are looking for

As an international Service Engineer you have:

  • A completed Secondary vocational education in mechanical engineering, vehicle engineering, electrical engineering or similar;
  • Completed relevant courses on hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical engineering;
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant working experience;
  • Willingness to travel and stay abroad for a few days to a few weeks, including weekends;
  • Good communication skills in English;
  • Driving license, category B;
  • A high degree of autonomy;
  • The ability of solving problems and a practical no-nonsense mentality.

Your remuneration
The remuneration package for this position is based on the applicable Collective Labor Agreement, according to the job level Senior Service Engineer. The package includes a competitive base salary and an additional allowance of gross € 45,- per day when working abroad. Of course we will also compensate your costs of travel and lodging. Meals and drinks will either be paid directly by the company, or you will receive a daily allowance up to net € 50,- to cover these costs. And finally, if necessary you can follow an English language course at our expense.
