About the job

As the Group Manager Sales Equipment, you play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our international equipment sales strategy. Reporting to the COO, you’ll lead our International Sales team of 8 employees, ensuring a seamless blend of innovative approaches and customer-centric practices to achieve unparalleled success in the market.

Your role as a Group Manager Sales Equipment:

  • Strategize for Success: Define and implement the international sales strategy in collaboration with country sales organizations, ensuring alignment with annual plans and budgets.
  • Stakeholder Management: In this role, you are constantly navigating between countries, the team, suppliers, and also the rental/fleet side to ensure that the machines become available for sales.
  • Revenue Generation: Drive sales revenue from new, used, and trading equipment activities, establishing a structured sales organization and process.
  • Key Account Management: Set up key account management, collaborating closely with the International Rental Manager for effective cross-selling initiatives.
  • Market Insight: Gather, analyze, and anticipate customer needs and market developments, contributing to informed decision-making.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and inspire the International and local Sales team, monitoring performance against set KPIs and fostering a culture of excellence.

What do you have to offer us?

Education

Preferably, you have a Bachelor’s or Master degree in Commercial/Businesss Administration or equivalent

Work experience

Minimum of 10 years in international sales and key account management, preferably in the aerial work platform market

Skills

Sales Expertise: Hardcore sales experience with a focus on products, services, and business development, complemented by financial acumen (TCO mindset).

Leadership Skills: Ability to motivate a diverse team across cultures and time zones, showcasing strong leadership, strategic thinking, and conceptual abilities
